Start 3D printing with eco-friendly 3D-Fuel Entwined hemp filament 500gr, 1kg and 4kg spools!

Hemp 3D printing filament produced from USA-grown and processed industrial hemp. Hemp filled filament is a composite made of biodegradable thermoplastic and short hemp fiber. Hemp filament uses no dyes, allowing it to maintain a true natural brown. It’s almost iridescent in its ability to showcase different shades and densities within the same printed object. There’s a large amount of visible bio-fill, something you don’t get with standard PLA.

Hemp filament can be printed on any machine capable of printing with PLA using standard PLA settings. It prints rigid parts with little to no warping or curling and is physically strong.

Here are some tips and tricks for using our Hemp 3D printer filament.

Recommended Printing Temperature:
180-210C*

Recommended Bed Temperature:
0-50C*

Recommended Print Speed:
60 – 120 mm/s

Print Settings

Hemp filament prints well at 180-210 C. In general, a good starting point is 10 degrees cooler than you typically print PLA. A heated bed is not necessary, though if you have one, set it to 45 C.

Filament Information

Diameter Tolerance: Variable diameter can cause big problems in your 3D printer. We use a multi-axis laser measurement system to control our filament diameter and ovality in real time during production. Every spool has the diameter and ovality measurements listed right on the box.

Packing Information: A 500g (1.1lbs), 1kg or 4kg of Hemp Filament plastic filament arrives on an easy-to-use plastic reel and is vacuum sealed with a desiccant packet to keep out any moisture.

Test Printing: Lab tested with multiple brands of 3D printers including MakerBot, LulzBot, FlashForge, and more. We 3D print test to ensure that our hemp filament provides the absolute best quality possible.

FIT INSTRUCTIONS

FIT RECOMMENDATIONS
Our men's t-shirts and tank tops are slightly longer cut and run a little big.
Size down for a more tailored fit.

FIT ADJUSTMENT INSTRUCTIONS

Our hemp garments are designed to account for slight shrinkage or reshaping. The more you wash and wear the softer they become.

* To add shrinkage to your hemp blend garment

Wash Warm/Hot - tightens up the hemp blend knit.
Tumble Dry Med/High - can add about 5% shrinkage

*To add length or width to your hemp blend garment

Wash Cold - Stretch out to desired shape
Flat Dry - maintains your desired shape

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

WASH CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Natural detergent is recommended
Wash Cold – maintains the size, shape and color
Tumble Dry Low – or hang or flat dry, maintains size and shape
No Bleach – can weaken hemp’s tensile strength, fabrics are PFD or semi-bleached
Iron - or steamer, use cotton setting

*Note: Always wash with like colors and never wash garments with towels, velcro or pilling textiles.

*HEMP TIE DYES
During our eco tie-dye process and we flat dry the garments. So it may seem a little big however if your wash with like colors in warm water and dry med/high heat it can have shrinkage of about 5%.
